Vendor Spotlight: Wild Bunches

Happy March! Warm weather is pouring in, the birds are singing, and the flowers are blooming and we are loving every minute of it! It is such a beautiful time to get married here in the Texas Hill Country.

As wedding season is picking up, we are seeing our friends from Wild Bunches bring in gorgeous floral bouquets and arrangements. Every wedding is new and beautiful with these ladies. They definitely know their flowers and how to style them. These gals are so full of life and joyous. We love it when they walk through our doors with arms full of fresh flowers!! Let me tell you, their work is stunning. You will be nothing but pleased with the work they create.

Get to know them a little bit better below!

1. How did your company get started?

We started out as Memory Lane Event Center’s In-house Florist in 2008. We were primarily doing floral jobs for their brides, but then quickly started branching out as our business and the wedding industry grew. We now serve Dripping Springs, Austin, and the surrounding areas. We love being a part of the Wedding Capitol of Texas!

2. Why do you like the floral business? Why weddings specifically?

Being on the floral aspect of a wedding lets us show off our creativity. Every wedding is truly different and we like that!

3. What makes your comapny different from other florists?

As a business we pride ourselves in our customer service. We try our best to stay connected with our brides, and also give our expert advice on what we think is best for their wedding. We also pride ourselves in working with a bride no matter what her budget is. There are usually ways to re-work floral jobs so that the bride gets the look she wants, and stays within budget. We are excited to say that we have numerous wedding industry awards under our belt. We have won the Best of the Knot for the past three years in a row!

4. If you could give a bride and groom advice about planning a wedding and picking a florist, what would you say?

I feel when choosing a florist, you will find one that you connect with. Go with the florist that you truly feel understands your vision, and takes your budget into consideration. Take the time to read reviews, look at pictures of their work, and also rely on word-of-mouth from other vendors that have worked with them (like your venue!).

5. What’s the best memory you have with your company?

Growing as a business in general has been exciting for us! We get to bring on more designers, and get to go all over Austin and Dripping Springs. We work in a great city that offers a lot in the wedding industry, and it’s exciting to be a part of it.
